Ernest Haiat Khabie

Mr. Haiat received his certified public accountant degree (BS) from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México and obtained his Masters’ degree in Taxes from the Instituto de Especialización para Ejecutivos. Mr. Haiat previously worked as partner and founder of "Haiat y Asociados, S.C.", where he specialized in financial and tax advice to private companies. He has been chairman of the Tax Investigation Committee of the Mexican Association of Public Accountants and is currently a member of the International Tax Committee of said Association. Mr. Haiat was certified by the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants. He was a professor at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México at the undergraduate and graduate level and is a frequent speaker on tax forums.
Ramón Amezcua Hassey

Mr. Amezcua obtained his law degree (JD) from the Escuela Libre de Derecho. He is widely recognized for his strategic expertise in business planning and financial structures design. He previously worked as partner and Deputy General Manager at Grupo Gicsa and afterwards founded "Ramón Amezcua Hassey, S.C. - Ideas en Desarrollo", where he created business and strategic planning structures for transactions and tax proceedings, as well as conflict resolution and generation and implementation of complex transactional projects. He has been a professor at Universidad Marista and Escuela Libre de Derecho.
Jacobo D. Laniado Amiga

Mr. Laniado obtained his law degree (JD) from the Escuela Libre de Derecho and obtained his Masters’ degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the Instituto Panamericano de Alta Dirección de Empresa (IPADE). He previously worked as deputy general counsel at Grupo Gicsa and has collaborated at A&H Haiat y Amezcua since 2012, becoming a partner in 2020. He specializes in advising on transactional, corporate and real estate transactions, M&A and Joint Ventures. He has participated in the design, negotiation and implementation of several corporate strategies and restructures, real estate asset transfer transactions in the residential, offices, industrial and tourism sectors, as well as in domestic and cross-border financing negotiations. He stands out in the design and creation of real estate, trustee and condominium strategies.
Jorge Grinberg Feldman

Mr. Grinberg received his public accountant degree (BS) from the Universidad Iberoamericana in 2010. Prior to joining A&H Haiat y Amezcua in 2015 (where he has been a partner since 2020), he worked in different tax consulting firms, developing an important part of his practice in New York City, United States, where he specialized on matters related to international tax consulting and corporate restructuring of local and cross-border groups. He specializes in tax consulting in real estate, cross-border investments and in general in business structuring. He has participated in the implementation of several investment structures in Mexico and abroad, as well as in corporate restructurings of groups of companies. Nowadays he´s part of the IFA (International Fiscal Association).
Rodrigo Rangel Hassey

Mr. Rangel obtained his law degree (JD) from the Universidad Iberoamericana and obtained his Masters’ degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the Instituto Panamericano de Alta Dirección de Empresa (IPADE). Rodrigo joined the firm in 2014 where he specializes in Real Estate, Tax, M&A and Commercial Law. He represents and advises clients in the acquisition, development, financing, sale and/or lease of real estate assets in the residential, office, industrial, commercial and tourism sectors. He advises investors, developers and private and public equity funds in the legal and tax structuring of real estate investments and divestments as well as in obtaining financing for their development, as well as in the co-investment, sale and/or contribution of operating businesses. Prior to joining A&H Haiat y Amezcua, Rodrigo worked as an Associate at Jones Day, where he specialized in litigation and tax and administrative consulting.
Fernando Molina Ostos

Mr. Molina obteined his law degree (LLM) from Universidad Panamericana with a specialty in Financial Law from said university and a Master of Laws degree from Georgetown University. Fernando joined A&H Haiat y Amezcua in 2020, focusing on Real Estate, M&A, Financing and Commercial Law. Prior to joining the firm, Fernando worked as an associate at Mijares, Angoitia, Cortés y Fuentes, where he developed his expertise in Real Estate Law and previously as in house counsel at Prudential Real Estate Investors (PREI), advising the different funds managed by PREI, including the FIBRA Terrafina Reit (Terra13) and the CKD Prumex (Plack 10).

Bachelor's degree in Accounting graduate from the Universidad Autónoma de México, with a postgraduate degree in Taxation from the same institution and certified by the Mexican Tax Academy, Colegio de Especialistas Fiscales A.C. She joined Haiat y Asociados (now A&H Haiat y Amezcua) in 1999, excelling in her career in accounting, auditing, and the implementation of real estate tax structures. Currently specializing in advisory services for transactional, corporate, and real estate operations, she has been involved in implementing various corporate strategies and restructurings, as well as real estate asset transfer operations.
Georgina L. Sasbon Wapnir

Lawyer graduated with honors from the Escuela Libre de Derecho. She served as Legal Manager at Grupo Gicsa in the strategic business area and has been collaborating with A&H Haiat y Amezcua since 2013. She specializes in transactional, corporate, and real estate operations. She has been involved in various asset transfer strategies, legal and tax structuring of real estate projects, M&A, co-investments, corporate restructurings, and credit negotiations.
